Newsletter Program Update Instructions
This allows you to update your newsletter quickly and easily. This procedure will only take a short time to complete.
Please follow the following instructions carefully. If you have difficulty following the instructions to get the updated application or using the newsletter program itself, please call the OCA Helpdesk at 1-800-626-8666.
To get the newsletter update:
- Connect to the World Wide Web by double-clicking "The Internet" icon on your desktop.
- Go to http://www.orthodon.com (you can type this into the box labeled Address at the top of the Internet Explorer toolbar and press enter.)
- Once the page has loaded, click on Practice Information, then on Wire to Wire Update.
- BEFORE GOING ANY FURTHER-Read through or print these instructions
- If you do not already have a shortcut on your Desktop for Wire to Wire, you will want to click once on the link at the bottom of this page that reads September Newsletter Shortcut.
- Choose to Run this program from its current location (NOT Save this program) and then click OK. You may then get a screen that reads Authenticode not found which is a security warning. Click Yes.
- You will see a file box, click on UNZIP. One file will unzip successfully. Click on OK. Then click the close button.
- Repeat the process with the link at the bottom of the page that reads September Newsletter Update.
- Note: The second link should have more than one file that UNZIPS successfully.
- Your newsletter program, Wire to Wire, is now updated with the latest articles for the current month.
- You should receive an e-mail every month notifying you when there will be an updated newsletter.
After downloading, you may begin inputting your information.
All offices should still update the shortcut.
